This Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 534/16 Vintage Film Camera Read, #Q93752, is in good cosmetic condition. It has wear, marks, and minor paint loss. I rate it cosmetically at an (8+). The top plate is slightly loose beneath the light meter. The viewfinder has some internal dust and debris but the view through the finder is clear. The rangefinder patch is bright and accurately aligned. The lens panel opens smoothly and the lens extends properly. The advance winds properly but is slightly stiff. The double exposure prevention works properly. The bellows are worn but show no visible rips or pinholes. The shutter cocks and fires properly at all speeds. The focusing ring adjusts smoothly. The aperture blades function properly. The aperture and shutter speed adjustment function properly. The film door opens properly. The interior of the camera shows wear, minor corrosion, and etching from previous fungus. The Zeiss 75mm f3.5 Tessar lens is clear with no haze. It has a few minor marks on the rear element and some minor fungus on one of the internal elements that will not affect image quality. The light meter cell is sensitive to light, but the light meter dial does not function properly. This vintage camera is sold “for parts / not working” with no warranty and no returns accepted.
