    Description

    A vintage 1989 New York Yankees Don Mattingly Plastic Baseball Bat Coin Bank. For six consecutive seasons (1984-1989) Don Mattingly was an AL All-Star, and during those six season Mattingly won five gold gloves, lead the league in hits and total bases twice, doubles three times, and RBI, Average, Slugging Pct, and OPS each once. Mattingly also won three Silver Slugger Awards, and was the 1985 AL MVP, in short Don Mattingly was one of the best players in baseball for six seasons. Unfortunately injuries derailed Mattingly’s Hall of Fame trajectory and he retired after the 1995 season at age 34. Mattingly is currently the Manager of those pesky Miami Marlins. This rare item is 29 inches long, and in excellent condition! A really neat and unusual piece of baseball memorabilia.
