Lens: f1, 2" Wray C.R.T. Fixed iris. Serial no. 203970 .
Shutter: None.
Construction: Metal body.
Format: 200, 1" x 1" exposures on 20' of 35 mm cine film held in light-tight cassettes.
Focusing: From 10.5" to 7".
Attributes: Automatic film advance, spring powered, film advance by sprocket drive. Electric impulse and manual exposure release. Glass pressure plate. To focus a "grey" film is placed in the film plane when the camera is not loaded.
With: Instruction sheet. Wiring diagram. Case.
The Auto camera was a recording camera for industrial and scientific work such as instrument recording and document filming. It was developed from the F.73 aircraft camera. Some versions were fitted with a view-finder. Speeds for models with shutters was up to 4 frames per second.
