    Description

Kodak Retina 118, 119, 2x 148 (all during1935-1941).   Selling some interesting early Kodak Retina examples (type 117 was the first).  I researched these as best I could and the two black-top enamel versions seem to be the second and third types.  The these two versions have zinc controls and date from 1935/36 and 1936/38, respectively.  The two chrome versions are both type 148, dating from 1939/41.  The one with black enamel under the rewind knob is reported to be the later of these two.  None of these cameras has been serviced but they all seem to function and contain no rust or mold.  They all have Schneider Xenar 50mm f/3.5 lenses. They are all clean cameras in good condition for their age.  The 118 appears to have been purchased in Koln as it has sticker inside the back cover.  That camera has some very slight denting of the viewfinder housing, which does not effect its function and is not very noticeable.
