Graflex R.B. Super D View Camera

Used as shown in the photographs. Vintage Graflex Super D camera with Kodak Ektar 152mm f/4.5 Lens in a Graflex diaphragm that automatically closes the iris to the user set f/stop setting when you take a photo. The Lens on this camera has several scratches on the front due to years of improper cleaning but still the camera focuses sharply. I do not know if these cleaning marks will show up in photographs. It does not include a film back, sorry I didn’t get one with it.
This unique camera has a curtain aperture for film exposure and it is working but I have no idea how accurately it’s timing is and it seems to lag at the slower settings. There are a total of eight different settings, set with a dial you choose A, B, C, or D and via another dial you set the curtain tension to high or low. When you take your picture the “curtain” moves across the film plane and a cutout on the curtain exposes the film. This curtain aperture can be disengaged if you choose by sliding a metal tab on the cocking lever.
The camera weighs 6 lbs and does have a threaded hole on the bottom for a tripod.
Of course, it’s an old vintage camera so is sold as-is, as pictured.
