ANTHONY PDQ 1890'S 4X5 DETECTIVE CAMERA W/GROUND GLASS & HOLDERS

Offered for your consideration is an Anthony PDQ (Photography Done Quickly ) American made detective camera from the 1890's. This is an impressive 4x5 size camera and includes a cut film holder and the original ground glass. The shutter works but is tricky. It needs to be played with to get it to function. The polished walnut exterior has been refinished at some point in the past, long before I bought it and it displays well. Serial number stamped inside the door is 1548. The big dial on the side moves the interior for focus. The dial on the front cocks the shutter. Inside the front door Is a clip that holds the original lens cap as well as a mount that holds the original tripod mount; both are present. The original reversible finder is also there. This beauty is 11" long by 7 1/2" wide and 6 1/4" tall. A most uncommon camera for your collection. Please look at the photos carefully. They are part of the description.
